Welcome to the Chemistry Unit! This is our first science unit for 7th grade.

The Weekly Lessons:

The Chemistry Unit will review and build upon things you learned in 6th grade, as well as introduce you to some new concepts. Topics covered: physical and chemical properties and changes, changes of state/phase, matter, atoms, the periodic table and atomic structure, types of matter, and chemical reactions.

Week 6: Review and Concept 2 Quiz (9/17 - 9/19; No school Monday or Tuesday)
Week 7: Chemical Changes and the Conservation of Matter (9/22 - 9/26)
Week 8: Wrapping up, reviewing, and the unit test (9/29 - 10/3)
